Body Scan Kids Privacy Policy

Body Scan Kids is an iPhone app for children aged 2 to 6. This policy explains,

plainly, what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

**Body Scan Kids collects nothing, stores nothing on our servers, and sends

nothing anywhere.** There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no

advertising and no third-party code of any kind. The app has no networking in

it at all.

What the app stores, and where

Everything the app knows lives in a database on your own iPhone:

• the name you type for each child, which can be left blank
• what a grown-up logged that a child ate or did, and when
• your settings, such as how the teeth and eyes are shown

That is the whole list. It never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes

all of it. We cannot see any of it, because it is never sent to us.

What the app does not do

• It makes no network requests. There is no server to talk to.
• It contains no analytics or crash reporting, first or third party.
• It shows no advertising of any kind, targeted or otherwise.
• It has no in-app purchases and no links out of the app.
• It does not ask for contacts, photos, location, microphone or health data.
• It does not use the camera. Nothing is photographed, recorded or saved.

The pictures the app draws

Every scan in this app is a drawing. The phone measures nothing about your

child. The pictures are generated from what a grown-up logged, and from

nothing else. The app is a way of showing a child what looking after

themselves might do, not a medical device and not a diagnosis.

Children

The app is designed for children aged 2 to 6 and is built so that a child

cannot change anything on their own: everything that alters a picture sits

behind a grown-up gate. Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is

no personal information of a child for anyone to obtain, and none is ever

disclosed to a third party.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new

date at the top.
